Akron is located in Ohio, United States. The city is also the administrative center of  Summit County.  Akron is mainly spread between Ohio, the Erie Canal and Little Cuyahoga River, with Cleveland to the south. Akron is the 5th most populated city in the state of Ohio and 113th most populated city in the United States.
