About Mahan Airlines
Founded in 1991 and based in Tehran, Iran, Mahan Air began its operations as Iran's first private airline in 1992, offering scheduled flights to cities across Europe and the Middle East. It also operates domestic flights within Iran, with operational bases at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran Mehrabad International Airport, Kerman International Airport, and Mashhad International Airport. As one of Iran's largest companies, Mahan Air employs around 5,000 people and operates a fleet of 54 Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Economy class passengers are allowed one piece of hand baggage up to 5 kilograms, while business class passengers can carry one piece up to 7 kilograms.
